Data and purposes
When you request a quote, we use the journey, date, passenger and luggage details and your contact details to answer your request, prepare the transport and communicate with you. This processing is necessary to take the pre-contractual steps you request. Data required for a booking, payment and invoicing is then processed to perform the contract and comply with legal obligations.
Recipients
Data is accessible only to Normandy Journey and, where necessary, its service providers: OVHcloud for hosting, email providers, SumUp for payments, WhatsApp/Meta if you choose that channel, and Google only if you accept advertising cookies. Each service applies its own privacy terms.
Retention
Quote requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for no more than 3 years after the last contact. Data relating to a service is kept during the commercial relationship and then archived for applicable statutory periods. Accounting records and invoices are kept for 10 years. Your cookie choice is kept for 6 months, after which consent may be requested again.
International transfers
Some international providers, including Google and Meta, may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are governed by GDPR safeguards, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time by contacting the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
Cookies and Google Ads
Google Ads trackers load only after you agree. You can accept, reject or customise with equal ease and change your choice at any time through “Manage my cookies” in the site footer. Strictly necessary functions do not require consent.
Quote form
The form prepares a message in your email application; you remain in control of sending it. Please do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for the journey.
